Bibles for China

For the past several weeks, Joy! 102.5 has partnered with Bible League International for its "Don't Make Them Wait" campaign, in which funds are raised to send Bibles to persecuted Chinese Christians who have literally had God's Word ripped from their hands by the government.

With a donation of $4 per Bible, we initially set out to raise enough funds to send 1,875 Bibles to China, but we quickly increased that goal to 2,000 Bibles. The campaign was heavily promoted, both on the air and online via Facebook and Twitter. Each day, the Bible League provided us with our current count, and we continuously updated listeners on our progress.

More than a week prior to the end of the campaign, we were thrilled to learn that we had surpassed our goal of 2,000 Bibles! Even more exciting: when the campaign officially concluded last week, our final count was 3,737 Bibles for China! That's $14,948 raised by WOLC listeners! Praise God!

Between our efforts here in Princess Anne, Maryland, and the nearly 20 other participating Christian radio stations across the country, over 30,000 Bibles total will be sent to Chinese Christians anxiously waiting for their own copy of God's Word.

All of us here would like to thank everyone who helped make our partnership with Bible League International a huge success. Your generosity will change lives!
